(PHOENIX, Ariz.) - Fresh off of inking a new deal that will place him behind the wheel of the No. 18 Chevrolet for Joe Gibbs Racing starting in 2008, Kyle Busch will visit Phoenix on Wednesday, August 29 to meet with NASCAR fans and participate in a question-and-answer session at Gallagher's, located at 3220 E. Baseline Rd.

The meet-and-greet session will last from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and fans from around the Valley are encouraged to join Busch for an exciting afternoon of NASCAR discussion in advance of the Checker Auto Parts 500 Presented by Pennzoil, scheduled for Sunday, November 11 at Phoenix International Raceway. Door prizes and other giveaways will be available for fans in attendance at Gallagher's. Busch will also be made available to Phoenix-area media during the appearance as part of this special in-market visit.

In five NEXTEL Cup Series starts at PIR, Busch has one win, one pole, and three top-10 finishes. Busch is the youngest winner in PIR's NEXTEL Cup history, having won the Checker Auto Parts 500 in November 2005 at 20 years, six months, and 11 days old.

Driving the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet this season, Busch is currently eighth in the NEXTEL Cup Series point standings. With a 320-point lead over 13th-place Dale Earnhardt Jr., Busch is in position to clinch a berth in the Chase for the NEXTEL Cup for the second time in his three full NEXTEL Cup seasons.
