(PHOENIX, Ariz.) - After donating nearly $250,000 to local service groups following the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500™ event weekend in April, Phoenix International Raceway is currently searching for community service groups from all around Arizona to work and raise funds at the NASCAR event weekend scheduled to take place November 8-11, 2007.

Positions are limited, so group leaders looking for a way to serve at one of Arizona's fastest and largest sporting events - while meeting new people and raising funds for their organization - are encouraged to act today. Groups should consist of 10 to 40 members, and diligent workers are needed to fill many event weekend spots in guest services and sales around PIR, including:

-Ticket takers
-Grandstand ushers
-Information booth ambassadors
-Tram drivers
-Tram and tram stop ambassadors
-Food concessionaires
-Merchandise sales

All groups should be of non-profit status while maintaining a valid tax ID number. To be eligible, all workers in the group must be at least 18 years of age.
